Roy Roger's Diamond Special Bohlin Saddle. Price realized: $103,500.
Founded in 1988, High Noon Western Americana is the industry leader in the purchase, sale, brokerage, and auction of Edward H. Bohlin silver parade saddles, spurs, belt buckles, gun rigs and a broad variety of western accessories and clothing made by the legendary Hollywood saddlemaker to the stars.
Over the past quarter-century, High Noon has sold several hundreds Bohlin-made sterling silver mounted parade saddles at prices ranging from $10,000 for the more basic riding saddles to $386,500 for the Roy Rogers iconic Dick Dickson model that was ridden by the King of the Cowboys on Trigger for most of the 1950s.
High Noon has also had the privilege to sell many historical Bohlin pieces that belonged to Ed Bohlin personally, plus buckles, bits and spurs, chaps, bookends, bolos and ornate jewelry that belonged to Hollywood cowboys like Tom Mix, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Buck Jones and Montie Montana.
