Joseph Sherwood and Linda Kohn Sherwood founded L. A. High Noon, Inc. in 1988. Driven by their passion for the historic West and the preservation of the lifestyle, in 1991, they began producing the annual High Noon Show and Auction. Starting out as collectors and in their pursuit of the facts and pieces, what they found along the way, was that it was the people who enriched their lives. They met those from West to East coast, all joining together each year to share information, tales and friendships.
In 2002 Danny Verrier, expert in Western and Native American art and artifacts, became a partner with Linda and Joseph. Since that time, High Noon has grown as is extremely proud of the team members who make High Noon and all that it encompasses happen. Here’s a brief look at who the owners and team members are.

Danny’s breadth of knowledge in the field is unmatched and he takes great care and pride in the services he and High Noon can provide.

Audrey Roberts, Operations Manager
Every day since 1997 Audrey has been the voice of High Noon, patiently fielding questions from callers and taking catalog orders. She answers the hundreds of questions all with grace and a smile. At show time you will find her at the dealer entrance, handing out dealer show packets and problem solving for each of the personalities who come through the door. Once the show is up-and-running, find her scampering over to the auction registering bidders and jumping in behind the scenes to make it all seem so smooth. And when the weekend is over and the crowds have gone home, Audrey is the money and shipping “wrangler” who makes sure all paid buyers connect properly with the local shipper. So, got a problem? Question? Audrey is the voice with the answer!
Theresa Verrier, Show Manager
High Noon’s own resident cowgirl, Theresa coordinates all aspects of the High Noon Show. She works year-round ensuring that new dealers and existing dealers are up to date on event information and contracts. At show time, she is the wonder-woman who handles everything from the floor plan to walls, load-in and load-out and everything else imaginable. She’s our dynamo and your go-to person for everything and anything about exhibiting and attending the High Noon Show. Look for Theresa’s "Bits & Pieces" column in Smoke Signals for show info updates.
Lynda Green, Bookkeeper
Lynda is our “keeper of the cash” both in-bound and out-bound. She’ ensures all of our accounting “i”s are dotted and “t”s are crossed and she’s personality plus!
Jayne Skeff, Publicity
Anything to do with media, promotions and publicity falls into her hands. She serves as our window to the world of TV, radio and print media. She also is our “chief writer” of Smoke Signals e-Magazine.
