High Noon Western Americana Show Dealer Information
We hope you're planning your best Show ever in January, 2008! If you haven't yet applied to participate in this year's Show, it isn't too late! Just download a Dealer Application and send it in.
We've added something extra special this year. Read on!
Our ads have gone out to Cowboy, Indian, and Art Magazines from coast to coast, and Phoenix radio and TV stations are ready to pull in local crowds as well, accessing both Spanish and English markets. This type of advertising has had measurable, positive results, and we are pleased to bring it to the High Noon Show & Auction.
You have helped solidify the High Noon reputation in Phoenix, a crossroads of Western American cultures. Not only do customers love your merchandise, they can't help loving Phoenix in January. The combination of outstanding weather and a variety of activities and events in the vicinity should once again bring an excellent crowd. We are expecting up to 2,000 attendees this year.
This year we’re very excited that the auction preview & auction will be held in the same building as the show. The auction preview and auction will be just off the South Lobby. We hope this will be more convenient for everyone.

We are very excited to share with you the new event we've added to our 2008 High Noon Western Americana weekend. We're calling it "High Noon After Dark...A very special benefit for the Phoenix Art Museum." It begins Friday evening after dealer set up. The show will be open during the benefit, from 6:30-9:00p.m. We plan on attracting more collectors from all over the Valley of the Sun, who support the museum and Western Americana.
Here's how it's going to work: Friday afternoon Non-Exhibiting Exhibitors (the folks that pay to come in with the dealers at 8am) & Early buyers (the folks that pay to come in at 11:00 a.m.) will be asked to leave the show at 5:00 p.m. If they would like to attend the benefit, they may purchase a ticket in the lobby, $85 per person.
You, our dealers, will have the choice to stay to continue setting up your table(s) or booth, or leave & take a break until 6:30 p.m. The house lights will come on about 6:15 p.m., and the show doors will open @ 6:30 p.m. Your "dealer" badge will allow you to come & go in and out of the show during dealer set up, the benefit, and the weekend.
During the evening benefit the High Noon Auction Preview will also be open, there'll be live entertainment, a free appraisal clinic, a beautiful display of works by famed whittler, Andy Anderson, and yummy catered food both in the lobby & in the show, for you & our attendees.
If you would like to volunteer your expertise for about an hour at the free appraisal clinic (Friday night only), please let us know, and we'll get you scheduled.
We're planning on adding PBS (Public Broadcasting System) to our list of advertisements, doing four spots in January, during the popular Antiques Road Show. Don’t you love seeing your dealer friends on television?
We hope this benefit will be a big success for all & that it will become an annual event.

Table Dealers:
We encourage all of you to comply with the following 2008 show rules. These rules apply to EVERYONE. Absolutely NO exceptions! If you choose not to follow the rules, then WE may not be invited back, and nor will you be.
- You are not permitted to pack up and leave before closing on Sunday;
- The space in front of & behind your table is an AISLE;
- There should be nothing in front of your table, and;
- There should be nothing behind your table except your chair(s), wheelchair(s) or scooter(s);
- A booth MAY NOT be created behind your table. If you know that you absolutely cannot get all of your merchandise “on” or “in place of” an 8’ x 2.5’ table, please consider bringing less merchandise or sign up for a booth;
- If you have LARGE items such as saddles, furniture, or clothing racks, you may place those items “in place of” your table, staying within your 8’ x 2.5’ boundary;
- You MAY NOT bring your own table(s) or move the existing table(s) to change or create your own space. This goes for everyone, including those on end caps;
- The decorator places the tables to our specifications to match our floor plan. This floor plan had to be approved, in advance, by the Fire Marshal, prior to set up. Any changes in the floor plan have to go through High Noon, the Fire Marshal, and the decorator, otherwise we are all at risk;
- You may have sturdy display shelves or gun racks “on” your table, as long as they do not exceed 4’ up from the tabletop, and do not exceed the length (8’) or width (2.5’) of your table;
- In consideration of your High Noon neighbors & attendees, walls, dividers, display stands, free standing shelving units and tables on top of tables will not be permitted;
- If you choose to display your rugs or blankets on your table(s), please make sure you have a fire retardant table cover underneath them;
- As per the Fire marshal, empty cardboard boxes and wood crates must be stored away from the exhibit hall: either outside on the docks or in your vehicle. (Write your name in bold letters on each box and/or crate if you plan to place them on the docks).
If you have any questions, please contact High Noon.
Booth Dealers:
We encourage all of you to comply with the following 2008 show rules. These rules apply to EVERYONE. Absolutely NO exceptions! If you choose not to follow the rules, then WE may not be invited back, and nor will you be.
- You are not permitted to pack up and leave before closing on Sunday;
- Your merchandise, tables, chairs, displays, etc may not “spill out” into the aisles, as per the Fire Marshal;
- When planning your booth layout, remember to allow room inside your booth for your chair(s), etc.
- If you’re on an end booth or on an end cap, you may use your outside wall(s) to display flat items like paintings, rugs, blankets, etc, but you may not place items on the floor outside of your booth, no matter where your booth is located.
- If there is an empty booth space next to you, it may be due to fire regulations & not an unsold space, so please wait until you are invited to place your merchandise in it before doing so. Also, if there are tables, chairs or showcases in an empty booth, do not assume they are for the taking. Please check with High Noon staff first.
- If you choose to display rugs or blankets on your table, please make sure you have a fire retardant table cover underneath them;
- As per the Fire Marshal, empty cardboard boxes and wood crates must be stored away from the exhibit hall: either outside on the docks or in your vehicle. (Write your name in bold letters on each box and/or crate if you plan to place them on the docks)
- If you’re sharing a booth with someone:
- On your contract: Please include your partner(s) name & business name (as they’d like it to appear in the High Noon auction catalog AND on their booth sign) Spelling counts!
- It is your responsibility to share all information, including rules & regs with your partner(s). You can do this by directing them to our website.
If you have any questions, please contact High Noon.
Table Covers:
If you choose to display rugs or blankets on your table, please just make sure you have a fire retardant table cover underneath them. No bare tables please! Remember that the covers are required (by the Fire Marshal) to be fire retardant and will be available for rent at the show on a first-come, first-served basis (6’ & 8’; black only; approximately $20 each). If you would like to purchase your own fire retardant table covers, contact the Collector’s House. #800-448-9298 or #732-388-2649 or visit www.collectorshouse.com
Trash:
Please place your trash in appropriate receptacles. You may not leave trash on the floor or on tables. If you need a garbage bag, please come to the show office.
Non-Exhibiting Exhibitors:
Friday @ 8 am enter via dock "F" or "G" on foot, from 5th Street; When you reach the docks, follow signs to "Dealer Packet Pick-Up" which will be set up outside, weather permitting, between the two docks; $100 per person. Your NEE badge will get you in Friday 8-5, and Saturday and Sunday, same as dealer hours. (If a NEE would like to come to the Friday night benefit, they may purchase tickets in the Lobby on Friday.)
*Please note the $100 for the NEE badge is about half the cost of a dealer table at our show.

Friday @ 11:00 am; Enter via South Lobby ONLY (not the docks); $40 per person; Your VIP Badge is good for Friday 11-5; Bonus: Wear your VIP Badge the whole weekend to enter "free" Saturday & Sunday, same as dealer hours. These folks are available Monday-Friday, 6:30am to 11:00 pm, and Saturday & Sunday, from 8am to 11:00pm. #602-495-1500 or www.coppersquare.com/about/ambassadors/

Special parking rate for High Noon dealers staying at the Hyatt:
This is what the Hyatt is offering: They will credit $7 per day parking charge for any overnight attendee that has an oversized vehicle parked in the (Plaza East Garage) CPEG lot of the Convention Center. (Guest will need to present receipt each day to front desk) We recommend that you call the Hyatt ahead of time to verify this & get any updated information.
If you have a regular size vehicle and you’re parking at the Regency Garage, just south of the Hyatt, ask at the front desk to purchase a one day pass (that will be charged to your room) that will allow you in & out privileges.
Parking:
Once you’ve unloaded, we ask that you get your vehicle back across the street to the Convention Center East Garage, formerly known as the Civic Plaza East Garage (C-PEG). If you have a regular size vehicle, tell the parking attendant you’d like “in & out privileges” BEFORE you pay for the day. At this writing, the cost of parking will be approximately $10 per day. If you have an oversized vehicle or a vehicle pulling a trailer, park in the marshaling yard. You will be charged for the number of spaces you use, and the cost will be approximately $11 per space, per day. Due to limited parking spaces in the yard, there will be no “in & out privileges”.
IMPORTANT: As always, as per the City of Phoenix, you may not stay in your vehicle while it is parked in any of the garages. We will post a list of nearby RV parks on our website.
Your vehicle will not be locked in after hours at any of the garages, nor will you be charged an additional fee, if your vehicle is out of the garage by midnight. After midnight you will be charged for another day.
