If you have property you wish to sell, the High Noon team can help you through the entire process.

Selling starts with an estimate of valuation. Our experts can accurately identify and determine the current market value of your property, whether for private sale or at Auction. When you turn your property over to us as your agents, this is known as consignment. Agreement to Sell
If you and High Noon agree that your item is to be included in our Auction, we will have you sign our contract. High Noon will accept the property and provide photography and insurance as part of our flat percentage fee.

Seller's Contract
The seller contract covers two important issues that will affect your bottom line: the reserve price and High Noon commissions.

Reserve Price
The reserve is the confidential minimum selling price to which a consignor (you) and High Noon agree before the sale - your property's "floor" price, below which no bid will be accepted. If bidding on your item fails to reach the reserve, we will not sell the piece and will advise you of your options. It is important to consider the reserve price in light of the fact that High Noon may assess fees and handling costs for unsold lots.

Seller's Commission
Sellers pay a commission that is deducted, along with any agreed-upon expenses, from the hammer price. There will be a consignment agreement, the terms of which will be agreed upon by both parties.

Shipping
High Noon can help you arrange to have your property delivered to our offices, if necessary. As the consignor, you are responsible for packing, shipping and insurance charges.

Payment
Shortly after the sale, you will receive a listing of the final hammer price for each item you consigned. We will send payment within a reasonable amount of time, usually 30 days, after the sale. Included will be a list of the final hammer price for each item you consigned.

Bidding In The Saleroom
Lots offered for sale are auctioned in numerical order as they appear in the catalog. The lot being auctioned is announced by the auctioneer, as well as shown live or illustrated on a screen at the front of the saleroom. Bidders are advised to have the auction catalog in hand during the sale for reference because the catalog takes precedence over the screen if there are any technical difficulties.

Delivery Of Property To High Noon
Property to be delivered for a forthcoming auction should be consigned to High Noon. High Noon’s staff is at your disposal to help arrange the delivery of property to High Noon. Please do not hesitate to call us at 310-202-9010.

Pre-Auction Notification
For items sold at auction, each seller will receive a Preliminary Consignment Form outlining reserve(s) and commission percentages for their property included in the sale.

Post-Auction Notification
Seller will receive a Final Consignment Form indicating the outcome of the sale of their property, together with their consignment payment.

Statement Of Condition
Before the sale, all lots may be examined during the Preview times listed here. All interested persons are advised to personally examine the condition of the objects prior to purchase. Buyers, including, without limitation, bidder’s representatives and auction agents are understood to have examined all lots which they purchase and to accept them as they are at the moment of hammer price and sale, and not necessarily as described in any written material or oral communications.

Those persons interested in purchasing any of the lots being sold shall be responsible for examining the lots personally to confirm their actual condition. All lots are sold “AS IS” according to their condition at the moment of hammer price and sale.

Neither High Noon nor the Seller have any responsibility whatsoever for any defect or deterioration of any lot.
