Connolly, Billings, Montana: Brothers Jack, Pat, and Andy opened their first saddle shop in Butte, MT, in 1907. In 1912 Jack and Pat opened the Billings shop where they produced the distinctive Connolly stock saddle - second exclusively, and Howard Tegland, one of the great bronc riders, joined with Jack Connolly in building the first strictly bronc, saddle. The Saddlery continued to prosper, even through the depression, from strong catalogue sales and a stellar reputation for fair dealing and quality workmanship.
