1868-Unknown

Wyoming Pete, a three-quarter Cherokee Indian, was born Jesse Luther Piolet Cox on an Indian reservation in 1868. He purportedly served as a Scout with the 7th Cavalry, rode in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West and Teddy Roosevelt’s Rough Riders. His later life was spent in show business.
