Arvo Ojala, Hollywood’s legendary gun coach trick shooter and technical advisor who taught Sammy Davis Jr., Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Frank Sinatra, Kirk Douglas, James Arness, Marilyn Monroe and Natalie Wood his quick draw techniques. Ojala personally made many of the rigs for the western heroes of the silver screen including the gun belt and holster worn by Richard Boone as Paladin in TV’s Have Gun Will Travel. He also happens to be the bad man who Marshal Dillon manages to outdraw in the opening sequences of the long running TV series, Gunsmoke.
