Helmuth Naumer

Known for his New Mexico landscapes, Naumer worked in many mediums but loved pastel the most since he didn’t have to mix the paints nor worry about the color fading with time. For Helmuth, pastel was the most effective for catching the fleeting atmospheric changes in the Southwest landscape.
