Alfred Heimer

Alfred Heimer was a close personal friend of Buffalo Bill Cody; he was his confidant and chef, and traveled extensively with the Wild West. Heimer assisted Cody in personal matters and his day-to-day activities. He was what most would consider Cody’s trusted servant. Cody helped Heimer open the Rex Corral Cafe in Billings, Montana, where Buffalo Bill and many of his friends frequented. Alfred Heimer also had a considerable involvement with Cody’s Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming.
