Bob Brown was born in Indiana in 1910, moving to Long Beach, CA in 1916. Bob learned the art of working in silver and leather while working for Frankie Paul in 1934, eventually opening his own shop in the heart of Hollywood in 1938 where he attracted both aficionados and celebrity clientele who nick-named him the “Leonardo of Leather.”
